Frequently Asked Questions

Because we built this website, we know where everything is. Makes sense right? What we do not want to do is take it for granted what is obvious to us is as clear to you. From our own experience, we know it doesn’t work that way. Which is why we’ve come up with this list of FAQ that we hope would be helpful as you explore our workshops. If you still have questions do not hesitate to contact us – we’d love to hear from you! This will also help add to our FAQ list since others may feel the same way.

1. What time do we kick off our workshops?

Everest CS workshops start promptly at 8:30 a.m. and end around 5:00 p.m. - sometimes we may run a bit over because of the class size. We arrive at least an hour ahead to make sure everything is in place for you. When continental breakfast is served, we suggest you get there early to enjoy it and get to meet your fellow participants before we get started.

2. What is everest cs workshop cancellation & refund policy?

We understand things happen out of the blue. If you need to cancel, you can do so up to 10 business days prior to the start of the event and you will be refunded your entire registration fee less a 10% administrative fee. Simply send us your request in writing via email or fax (599) 264-7334 with “CANCELLATION” in the subject. No refunds will be made for requests after that time.

If we receive your cancellation request within 10 business days of the first day of the event, you may send a substitute attendee in your place by informing us in writing. Otherwise, the registration fee will be forfeited.

Refunds will be issued in the same form for which payment was made. We make every effort to process your refund immediately but please be aware it may take up to 10 business days for funds to be returned to your account. Registrants who cancel will not receive workshop materials.

everest cs reserves the right to cancel, change, or postpone any event, program or workshop for any reason, including insufficient registration. If we need to cancel a workshop, we will try to give you as much advance notice as possible. A full refund will be issued within 15 days from the date of cancellation. For those clients who are unable to attend a workshop because of a revised location or date, we will refund 100% of any pre-paid registration fees. Note however, we will not be liable for any costs incurred for travel, hotel, or any other consequential damages.

3. What happens if I don't show up for a workshop?

If you don’t show up for the workshop you are registered for and we were not notified ahead of time, you will be charged the entire registration fee.

4. Can I reschedule my workshop?

If this workshop has multiple offerings, we will transfer your registration to another session as long as we receive a written request from you prior to the first day of the event for which you originally registered. If this isn’t the case and it’s a one-time workshop offering then the above cancellation policy will apply (see FAQ2 above).

5. What is everest cs on-site workshop cancellation policy?

This will only apply if everest cs conducts the workshop at a client facility. There is no penalty if you cancel or reschedule your on-site workshop prior to 30 days of the scheduled start of the workshop. If you need to cancel your on-site workshop less than 30 days in advance, there will be a cancellation fee of $2000.00 ($5000.00 for International programs). Any costs incurred on your behalf such as airfare, shipping charges, etc., will also be billed to you.

6. What are your payment options?

Everest cs accepts various forms of payment for our workshops including Check, Money Order, Visa, American Express, MasterCard, Discover, EFT (US only), and Wire Transfer. We use PayPal for our online payment processing and you can rest assured knowing none of your credit card information is stored by us. If your organization uses a purchase order system, your organization may be invoiced for your workshop if you prefer.

Prices are subject to change without notice.

7. Is there a dress code?

We suggest you dress in what makes you feel comfortable – such as business casual, jean etc. However, if you like wearing a suit and that suits your fancy (no pun intended) then by all means wear a suit! We do suggest you bring a sweater in tow because heating/air conditioning can fluctuate in some rooms.

8. What will I receive when I attend a workshop?

Each workshop we offer comes with different learning materials. These may include course workbooks containing quick reference guides, checklists, samples, decision tables, and models that can be useful outside of the class.

9. What is included in the price of my workshop?

In addition to your workshop materials and having the expertise of our facilitators at your disposal, you will receive a continental breakfast and lunch each day, unlimited coffee service, suggestions for further professional development, a tangible action plan to implement immediately, and a certificate of completion.

10. What kind of support can I expect after I attend a workshop?

Here is where we take full advantage of the social media resources available. We have a blog, a twitter and a facebook account. Send us your questions, ideas, suggestions and we will respond. It harnesses the power of your Personal Learning Network (PLN). If you need advice, confirmation of a decision, or someone to discuss ideas with – just give us a call.

11. Will I be able to speak directly with the instructor when I am at the workshop?

Absolutely! You can have one-on-one discussions with the instructor about your concerns while attending one of our workshops. In addition to being available before the course starts in the morning, our facilitators will also be available during breaks and after wrap-up.

12. How are everest cs workshops structured?

We know you are excited to be here. Expect your course to be highly participative. There are many group and individual exercises, opportunities to give and receive feedback, and practice your new skills.

We encourage questions, comments, and discussion at any time. Breaks will be scheduled frequently so you can stretch, walk, talk, or make phone calls.

13. Will I have an opportunity to network with anyone else?

Absolutely! There will be many opportunities for us to learn from each other. We rotate seating during activities so you get a chance to meet and learn from your peers.

Sometimes participants may decide to go out to dinner as a group and have said this type of social activity helps build contacts, advance learning, and certainly build friendships.

14. Can you accommodate individuals with disabilities?

Just let us know and we will be happy to do whatever we can to assist our workshop participants with disabilities. Try to let us know 2 weeks in advance of the workshop so we can do everything possible to assist the participant.
